Entelar Group is now providing New Zealand infrastructure providers a simpler, locally supported route to advanced networking technology from Ciena. The collaboration brings together Ciena's networking systems, software, and services with Entelar Group's local technical expertise, solution design and commercial support. Entelar Group will support customers to design and deliver networks, powered by Ciena technology, to support growing data demands, increased cloud adoption, and emerging AI-driven workloads. Mike Shirley, Head of Sales and Marketing at Entelar Group says, "New Zealand businesses are generating, moving and relying on more data than ever, while the increasing use of cloud and AI are placing new demands on the networks and infrastructure that support them. Network capacity alone is no longer enough. Networks must also be resilient, secure and able to adapt as requirements change. "Ciena has revolutionised network innovation by providing high-capacity, intelligent networking solutions that deliver seamless connectivity. New Zealand businesses can now access Ciena's sophisticated technology alongside local support from Entelar Group who can help them design the right solutions, build their capability, and provide ongoing support." Initial activity will focus on organisations operating critical or data-intensive infrastructure, including telecommunications, data centres, utilities, government and large enterprises. For example, a power company deploying thousands of connected sensors across its network relies on vast amounts of data moving quickly, securely and reliably between locations. In this instance, the business can work with Entelar Group's locally based experts to provide the training, support and access to Ciena's advanced networking technology which has the capacity and scale to meet the demands of their increasingly data-intensive operations.
