Superhero Programme installers accrue MDF which can be redeemed for approved marketing activities - all facilitated by Entelar Energy.
Who can Participate?
To be part of the programme, installers must:

How MDF Points are Earned
MDF points are earned based on the type of Entelar Energy products installed, and activated on the Univers EMS Platform.

What We Support
Approved Activities:

Activities We Don’t Fund:
❌ General business operating costs
❌ Activities without Entelar Energy branding
❌ Unapproved marketing spend
❌ Sponsorships, travel, or unrelated promotions
❌ MDF funds may not be used for any marketing activity that is unlawful, unethical, or likely to expose the company or its partners to regulatory, reputational, or compliance risk under New Zealand law.
How To Apply
Step One
Check Your MDF Balance
Installers receive monthly MDF statements showing:
- Points earned
- Points redeemed
- Current balance
- Upcoming expiry dates (if applicable)
You must have at least 500 MDF points available to submit a redemption request.
Step Two
Identify a Marketing Opportunity
Installers work with Entelar Energy to identify an approved marketing activity, such as:
- Cobranded digital advertising
- Local area marketing campaigns
- Signage, collateral, or installer branding
- Event sponsorship or promotional support
- Campaigns promoting Entelar Energy solutions and installer services
All activities must align with Entelar Energy brand and marketing guidelines.
Step Three
Submit a MDF Request
Once the activity is agreed:
- The installer submits a request outlining the desired marketing activity
Important:
- No cash payments, reimbursements, or cash equivalents are permitted
- MDF cannot be transferred between installers or used for personal benefit
Step Four
Entelar Energy Review & Approval
Entelar Energy reviews the request to ensure:
- Sufficient MDF balance
- Alignment with programme rules
- Brand and campaign suitability
Entelar Energy may approve, adjust, or decline requests at its discretion.
Step Five
Campaign Delivery
Once approved:
- Entelar Energy plans, executes, and delivers the marketing activity
- MDF points are deducted from the installer’s balance
- No invoices or claims are required from the installer
Step Six
Post‑Activity Reporting
Following delivery:
- The activity is recorded in the installer’s MDF statement
- Updated balances and any remaining points are visible in the next monthly report
Terms & Conditions
1. Programme Overview
The Entelar Energy Installer MDF Programme (“the Programme”) is designed to support accredited installers in growing their business through meaningful, cobranded marketing activities delivered by Entelar Energy.
The Programme converts eligible product sales into marketing development funds (MDF), which may be redeemed for approved marketing activities facilitated directly by Entelar Energy.
Participation in the Programme constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Programme, installers must:
- Be an approved Entelar Energy installer
- Purchase eligible Entelar Energy products through authorised channels
- Remain active and compliant with Entelar Energy programme requirements
Entelar Energy reserves the right to suspend or remove participants who do not meet programme eligibility or compliance standards.
3. Eligible Products & MDF Accrual
MDF points are earned based on the type of Entelar Energy products installed and activated on EMS Platform Univers.

- MDF is not earned on accessories
- Values are indicative and may be adjusted at Entelar Energy’s discretion
- MDF is calculated at the time of install on Univers and allocated monthly.
4. How Redemptions Work
- Installers redeem MDF points for approved marketing activities
- All marketing activities are arranged and delivered by Entelar Energy
- No cash payments, reimbursements, or cash equivalents are provided
5. Approved Marketing Activities
Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Cobranded digital advertising
- Local area marketing campaigns
- Signage, collateral, or installer branding
- Event sponsorship or promotional support
- Campaigns promoting Entelar Energy solutions and installer services
All activities must align with Entelar Energy Brand and Marketing Guidelines.
6. Validity Period
Points will not expire if the installer remains active by meeting at least one of the following within a rolling 12‑month period:
- Completion of at least one installation, OR
- Submission of one MDF redemption request
If inactivity:
- If neither activity occurs, points will be marked inactive
- A three month grace period applies before points expire
- Expired points cannot be reinstated
Points Usage:
- Installers must accrue a minimum of 500 MDF points before submitting a redemption request
- Partial or split redemptions below this threshold are not permitted
Entelar Energy provides monthly MDF statements detailing:
- Points earned
- Points redeemed
- Current balance
- Upcoming expiry dates (if applicable)
Statements are provided for transparency and programme management purposes.
Gambling and Prize Promotion Restrictions
MDF funds may not be used for activities that constitute or promote gambling, lotteries, or chance-based prize promotions that do not comply with the Gambling Act 2003, including purchase-to-enter competitions, random prize draws, or any activity that could be deemed unlawful gambling or an illegal sales promotion in New Zealand.
Bribery, Corruption, and Improper Influence
MDF funds may not be used for any activity that could be perceived as bribery, kickbacks, inducements, or improper benefits to customers, partners, public officials, or private individuals, in breach of New Zealand's anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, including the Crimes Act 1961 and the Secret Commissions Act 1910.
Misleading or Unfair Marketing Practices
MDF funds may not be used for marketing activities that are misleading, deceptive, unsubstantiated, or otherwise unfair, including false claims, unclear pricing, misleading incentives, or misrepresentation of offers, in breach of the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Privacy, Data, and Consent Obligations
MDF funds may not be used for activities that collect, use, share, or monetise personal information in a way that breaches the Privacy Act 2020, including marketing without appropriate notice, consent, lawful purpose, or data security safeguards.
